Student Summit, Condon April 25th 9-3pm, 2023 Organizers and partners: Oregon Transition Technical Assistance Network (TTAN)- Pre-ETS Coordinators, Desiree Berry and Toni Depeel & Transition Network Facilitators Kriss Rita and Margie Blackmore We have organized Student Summits in a variety of communities and formats across the state and all have been well received by students, staff, and community partners. Description: The Student Summit is a 1-day experience to build student relationships, leadership skills and community employment awareness for students with barriers to employment ages 16-21 years old. Students will learn leadership and self-advocacy skills taught through activity-based experiences, business tours for job exploration, hands-on Pre-Employment activities, and time for social/peer friendship building. The day will culminate with mock interviews.
