About

Northwest Grain Growers (NWGG) is a farmer-owned cooperative serving the Pacific Northwest, with roots going back to 1929.  Through strategic mergers and expansions, including with Mid Columbia Producers in 2025, the co-op now supports around 2,200 members across Washington and Oregon. 

NWGG isn’t just about moving grain, though they handle over 40 million bushels annually, they’re deeply committed to community and local agriculture. Their facilities include dozens of country elevators, barge loading terminals, shuttle rail capabilities and retail seed plants, giving producers the infrastructure they need to compete. 

On the community front: their mission includes “better the lives of our members, employees and the communities in which we live and raise our families while helping feed the world.” They offer scholarships for youth of members/employees and actively support local organizations — showing up beyond the business of agriculture.

WGG stands as a cornerstone partner for growers, a modern logistical powerhouse in the grain and seed business, and a community-minded organization that invests in the people and places behind the crops.

Mid Columbia Producers, Inc. (MCP) is a farmer-owned cooperative formed in 1988 when two neighboring co-ops were merged, combining operations dating back to the 1930s.  In 2014 MCP was proud to bring Bend Oil Company, founded in 1927, into our operations.  The end of 2016 saw the addition of our Umatilla County fuel division, including cardlock, bobtail, and lubricants.

The Seed Division markets and sources seed from as far north as the Canadian border to as far south as California.  We offer unique contracting options, helping producers better manage their bottom line.  MCP offers a wide range of wheat, barley and forage seed in many varieties to cover producer’s needs.  (Our farm store can help with any grass seed needs.)

~ Our Petroleum Division offers a vast array of products and services throughout Oregon and Southern Washington, including an expanded line of brand name packaged lubricants as well as commercial, agricultural and residential bulk fuel, lubricant, and heating oil deliveries.  We also offer fleet fueling solutions utilizing both the CFN and Pacific Pride commercial cardlock networks. We operate fueling sites throughout the Hwy 97 corridor, Pendleton, and Hermiston, as well as consumer and commercial cardlock access to our Moro and Wasco proprietary sites.
